Maya Angelou once said:
I've learned that you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles these three things: a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights.
I laugh when thinking what my reaction to tangled Christmas lights would tell her about me. I'd like to think that it would tell her that I am exactly like my sister, my mother and my grandmother - the three most amazing women in my life. They tackle obstacles like tangled lights with determination, sometimes frustration, but always with a smile and a laugh. I would consider myself lucky to be compared to any one of them. They are more than my family, they are my confidants, my teammates and my partners in laughter.
On this Mother's Day, I celebrate all of them. I love you guys!
