Maybe it was the warm weather. Maybe it was because they were together. Maybe it was because we drove the six hours to visit for the weekend. Or maybe it was simply the fact that they were never meant to be northerners. For one reason or another, this is the life they were suppose to be living. And so they finally are.

Me: We finally made it (getting out of the car).
Dad: It's so good to see you! How was the drive?
Mommy: Did you see them?? Did you see them??
Dad: Did you hit any traffic?
Mommy: Look! Look!
Me: No, we barely hit any traffic.
Mommy: Did. you. see. them??
Me: Did I see what?
Mommy: We have palm trees in OUR yard!!
