Ever the serious one, Marley chooses to first analyze, then react. Such is the way she approaches every situation. And such is the way our photoshoot on Saturday went.
Marley is turning two. For Will and Tina, the time just seems to be speeding by. With every day, Marley learns a new word and grows another inch. I, too, can hardly believe how much she's grown. My first photshoot with Marley was just a few days after she was born. At the time, she was barely able to stay away for the hour sessions. Now, showing the signs of a budding personality, she is nearly two.
I love the bright little girl she is turning into. I love her curiosity and adventure. And I simply love her adoration for her parents. To them, she's always MarMar.

When you first walk into a room with Marley, shy is not the word that would come to mind. She's energetic and bubbly. Though when a camera is pulled out, her curiosity wins over. The end result: the serious face. My goal with this shoot was to strive to get more smiles. More genuine laughter.
More Marley.
I'm pretty sure Tina and I got more enjoyment out of covering her in crepe paper than she did.
But our enjoyment was infectious. Marley was laughing in no time.
This year for Marley's second birthday, she'll be giving back to the environment by planting a tree. Tina has teamed up with the Savannah Tree Foundation and will be hosting a Tree Planting Party at a local park. First of all, fantastic idea. I wish I could come up with ideas like this! Tina is a genius.
So for the second half of the shoot, outside we went. Trees, peace and environmental loving chicks here we go.
