Saying that I haven't blogged in a while would be an understatement. So I just won't say it. Over the past month I've been able to take a nice little break from the demands of running a business and focus on the other aspects of it - the creative side, more often referred to as the AWESOME side. With the extremely hot summers in the south, I am afforded a bit of a summer reprieve in my work. I mean, who wants to have their photo taken as their make-up melts off their face? So I've been taking this time to enjoy life and ramp up my creative juices. There are some amazing things in the works that I couldn't be more excited about (such as a new website! Eeek!).
Amid the creative flurry and endless brainstorming sessions, we were able to take some time away to visit my parents in southern Florida. Days on the water and nights playing cards made for a wonderful long weekend.
We started off our weekend at an AMAZING farmer's market. The produce and plants available here were incredible.
We were treated to a great boat ride to chase dolphins.
