Some days I just love this city. As we're on the brink of the southern summer, I'm relishing the warm breezes that we're still having. It won't be long before the heat and humidity consume the days of June, July and August. Nearly eight years ago I made the thirteen hour drive from Pennsylvania, moving from the only town I'd ever called home. Even then, I knew that there was something magical that drew me to Savannah. It wasn't just the Spanish moss dangling from every tree branch or the rich history on every corner. Rather it was all of it - the sights, the sounds, the people and the unhurried pace of life.
This past weekend we took a stroll around town to remind ourselves of all the reasons we love living here.
I can't help but snap portraits of Jason IF he lets me.
I love the way light and glass play off one another.
I'd say that this telephone pole has seen more than its share of signs stapled to it...
