Finding My Balance

Last summer I reached a point of unbalance in my life.  Stress got the best of me and I broke down.  I knew I needed a better way of handling the tension.  I sought a means of an escape and a source of balance.

I found yoga.

Within minutes of attending my very first class at the Savannah Yoga Center, I knew I was exactly where I needed to be.  My teacher instructed us to forget about everything that was going on in our life, to not think of what had happened that day or of what was to come the next day.  We were there to focus on the moment.  For those 80 minutes the world fell away and I focused on nothing but me.  I found what I was lacking - a sense of peace in both mind and body.

I found my balance.
