After just finishing a 12-day stint of working non-stop, I'm enjoying this relaxing weekend off. And I couldn't be happier about it. The work had been long and tiring, so today was all about resting. Jason and I stayed up late last night and slept in late. Yesterday I awoke to the sounds of the birds and the sun streaming through my blinds. I knew it was going to be a good day.
And could there be a better way to spend a good day than out at the Savannah National Wildlife Refuge? Doubtful.
We're drawn to this park over and over again. The greatest part about it, for me, is that it presents me with a continual photographic challenge. After so many trips, its hard to find a unique way to shoot there. I like to take on the challenge, none-the-less.
Looking out the window at the raging thunderstorm this afternoon makes me appreciate the beautiful weather we had yesterday and ability to get out and shoot.
