The post Christmas time of year. The time of year where everyone looks back on the year at all the things accomplished....and then there are the things not accomplished. I've never been very good at setting New Year's resolutions. Maybe I set goals that are just too unrealistic. Or maybe I just don't try hard enough to keep them.
Take this year for example. I started off my resolution list with three key goals:
1. To streamline my photo editing process and turn around time. Including both client images and personal ones.
2. To eat healthier. Christmas cookies in our house disappeared at an alarming rate. Time to reverse the effects of those devoured cookies.
3. To extend the fuse of my temper. As of late, stress has shortened my fuse to that of a firecracker.
As of today, January 2nd, I've broken all three resolutions. Ouch. That's a new all time low. Please tell me I'm not the only one!
To recap my progress:
1. I haven't begun editing my Christmas photos. A week behind schedule. Not a good start to the year.
2. Leftover cookies quickly disappeared as a result of number 3 being broken.
3. My license plate was stolen from my car. Screws and washers included. The police won't file a report. The DMV is closed today. And right there? There went my temper....followed by the cookies.
Here's to the remainder of my resolutions outlasting the day!
