Kelsie: In Favor of Fuzz + Stellar Drawstring Pouch

I've talked before about my love of collaboration, particularly with other talented artists.  Earlier this year I had the great opportunity to work with Kelsie McGrail Rodgers, a former classmate of mine.  This past week I've been delighted to have that chance again.

Her work is fantastic; the craftsmanship spot on.  And these pouches....let's just say I had to have one.  In Kelsie's own words from her site:
Tightly woven muslin was hand-stamped with my dotted star motif in Tangerine and Golden Mustard using screen printing ink and my own technique. The fabric was then made into this sweet little pouch with orange cotton thread and natural cotton cording. Each drawstring pouch features its own unique arrangement of stars.
Pouch measures approximately 6" x 10", useful for travel, small gifts, and special storage.

As with any project there was a lot of trial and error.  Getting the light just right in addition to accurately portraying the product.  After some back and forth, I'm thrilled with the outcome.  I image these will be selling quickly on etsy.com!
