We love where we live. The area is just what we could want in a neighborhood. The houses range from being built in 1900 to 1960. They're eclectic. And they're unique. I watch HGTV regularly (Jason will tell you that regularly isn't the word for it as it plays in the background while I type this) and I see couples listing off their requirements for buying a house. Stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, space for entertaining, four bedrooms. And the list goes on. It makes me think my list of wants is vastly different. I'm looking for the oddities. The quirkiness. The details.
The old pan windows. The glass doorknobs. Pine floors.

The fireplace and the moulding that surrounds it.

It really is all in the details. Not entirely what the HGTV couples are looking for, but they're the things that rank the highest on my list.
