Details. I love them. I firmly believe they can be the foundation behind any planned event. Maybe it's my OCD coming out in me, I'm not sure. But if ever there was a girl after my own heart it was Tina. This girl is all about the details. And I love her for it.
Marley's second birthday. A milestone worth remembering in a little girl's life. Tina planned every aspect of the party. Pins, crafts, chalk, presents, cake, juice, cupcakes, plants, flowers, a tree. I can't say enough about the thought and effort that went into the day.
For this birthday party, Tina teamed up with the Savannah Tree Foundation to plant a tree at a local park. The organization has been around for 29 and strive every year to plant at least 300 trees within the county. I'm excited to say that I took part in the planting of one of those 300 this year!
Marley had been practicing with Will in the garden for the past two weeks so that she would be ready for the planting of this tree. I'm pretty certain she would have spent hours there slowly shoveling dirt if she could have.
And no birthday would be complete without presents and dessert! I gained a few pounds just looking at those cupcakes...
And now another year has begun for Marley, full of growth, exploration and fun. I hope she eats a ton of cupcakes and gets spoiled everyday!
