Poodles for Halloween

Between my week long hours at the office, I manage to find time to squeeze in a few really great photoshoots a month.  I can only hope that there will be a time in the future that I will refer to as "the great reversal," in which my time is spent primarily shooting, followed in distance second with a few hours squeezed in at the office.

This weekend I had the wonderful pleasure of working with Will, Tina and their beautiful daughter Marley Marie.    Tina is one of those moms that I admire, and aspire to be one day.  She manages to run a household, raise her daughter, and attend culinary classes at a Technical college.  I cherish any opportunity I get to taste one of her latest kitchen creations.  I have been able to photograph Marley since she was just a few months old.  With every shoot she continues to amaze me by how much she has learned since the last time I've seen her.

Marley is what I would describe as a "quietly happy child."  She is not overly giddy or bubbly; rather, she is very serious, always concentrating in an attempt to decipher whatever it is in front of her.

Every year, Tina searches for the perfect costume for Halloween.  This year it was a fluffy pink poodle!  As though she couldn't be any cuter all on her own, just add black cuffs around the ankles and wrists, and long black ears.
